Directions: FROM LI Expressway heading east or west: Take EXIT 59 to CR-93 South / OCEAN AVENUE. Continue to follow CR-93 south about 4 miles. CR-93 S becomes LAKELAND AVENUE. Go another 1.4 miles, over the LIRR railroad tracks. LAKELAND AVENUE becomes RAILROAD AVENUE. At the traffic light in downtown Sayville, continue straight (south) RAILROAD AVENUE becomes GILLETTE AVENUE. The Common Ground park will be almost immediately on your right.

Going EAST or WEST on SO. STATE PKWY, go SOUTH on SEAFORD-OYSTER BAY EXPWY (RTE. 135). Take this to the last exit, MERRICK RD., EASTBOUND. Continue EAST on MERRICK RD. to the 3rd traffic light, JACKSON AVE. Turn LEFT (NORTH) on JACKSON AV. The library is on the left. The entrance to the public HANDICAPPED PARKING is in the private lot on the SOUTH SIDE of the building.

DIRECTIONS: From Long Island Expressway:  Take Long Island Expressway to Woodhaven Blvd. (Rockaways) At Woodhaven Blvd. make a right turn (south). Follow Woodhaven Blvd. approximately 3 miles Once you go over a small bridge (Home Depot will be on your left) bear right. The traffic light after Myrtle Avenue is Forest Park Drive. Make a right into the Park. After you go over a speed bump bear left. You will see a parking lot on your right.
From Northern State/Grand Central Parkway: Take Northern State/Grand Central Pkwy. to Jackie Robinson Pkwy. Take Jackie Robinson Pkwy to Exit 4, Forest Park Drive. Once you exit bear left. Follow the Park Road to the first traffic light and make a left. Stay on the road bearing right (if you go straight you will be in the golf course parking lot). Go over two speed bumps. The Bandshell parking lot will be on your left.

DIRECTIONS:  Southern State Parkway to Exit 22 South (Meadowbrook Parkway). Take Meadowbrook Pkwy south to Exit M10 - Loop Parkway for Lido Beach and Long Beach.  Take Loop Parkway until you can’t go any further, and make right onto Lido Blvd.  Continue on Lido Blvd about 3-4 miles, go through town of Lido Beach, Lido Blvd becomes Park Avenue. After it becomes Park (divider now between two directions of traffic), make a left at third block, which is Neptune Blvd.  Take Neptune Blvd south for about five short blocks to the beach.
